Iphone app- SHOPSTYLE

For those of you who have an iphone there is an amazing application called SHOPSTYLE, which is free. Its basically an app that has loads of stores (high street, designer and online) in one place which allows you to search, purchase and favourite your items. With shops such as Topshop, asos, office, Boots etc you can flick through the clothes in your favourite shops and buy them using the app.
There is also a sales alert feature which tells you when the items you've chosen are in the sale. You can  search items such as denim jacket and it will show you all the stores that sell this item. Selling mens, children and women's it also sells beauty products and home items.
My favourite shop on SHOPSTYLE is defo BeautyBay.com which sells 3,664 beauty products from loads of different makes, all which give a great explanation on what the products do i really have hundreds of items in my favourite section that i am gradually doing to purchase.

I really do recommend this app and it's free so if you really not keen you can easily delete it and not have to worry about loosing money, though i can promise you it will become one of your most used apps on your iphone.

Where's me keys, where's me phone?!!

So this morning i spent half an hour looking for my mobile, literally turned the house upside down and as my house phone is barred from calling mobiles so I couldn't even ring it. So iv come to the conclusion that somebody needs to invent a device that allows you to press a button and it calls your phone. I know they have invented a keychain you attach to your keys and when you whistle it makes a noise which is all very well if you can whistle unlike me who resulted In trying a High pitch scream. So if anyone wants to create this I would defo purchase. For everyone's information i finally found it in the washing machine in guessing Alfie was playing hide and seek with mummy's iPhone. The iPhone won!

Inside my make-up bag: everyday look

Inside my make up bag: everyday look
So I meet my best friend Sarah for lunch today so went for my everyday minimal make up look.

FACE

I've used L'oreal true match foundation for a good few years now but my best friend left her foundation at mine recently and i decided to test it out (shhh don't tell her) Dream Satin liquid by Maybelline and having struggled to find a good foundation for years i was very satisfied with the product unlike L'oreal true match its a lot less watery and the thickness of it means that you don't have to put a lot on to cover your bags and blemishes. I am that pleased with it that I'm gonna be unloyal to my foundation of 3 years and make friends with Dream Satin Liquid (after i steal this bottle from my friend).

I then use Bourjois bronzing powder, this is in a cute little box and is meant to smell slightly like chocolate, although it reminds me a bit more of sunscreen (although i like it as it reminds me of holidays). I used this over my whole face as a powder (I like the tan look) and then put a bit extra on my cheeks.

EYES

I then used a eyeliner I recently bought by Mua in black on my bottom lids, this eyeliner cost me £1 so I had quite low expectations of this, the eyeliner has a handy sharpener on the lid this is perfect for me as my liner often goes blunt and i never keep a sharpener in my make up bag the only thing about this is, is that gets quite messy and is quite hard to clean the eyeliner off. The eyeliner isn't amazing it is quite smudgy which when your going for the smokey eye look is a pro, but when u want a nice neat line its not the best. Although for a pound i wasn't expecting much and i will continue using this until its on its way out though properly will spend a bit more in the future.

I love my flicks and this is something I have done for about 5 years on my top lashes, i just used a basic black liquid liner (unfortunately the writing has rubbed off it and i have no clue where its from) and draw a neat line on my top lids and draw my flicks at the edges. I recently read about these stick on eyeliners that create the flicks for you, which i really can't wait to try but cannot find in any shops at the moment but when i do i will be reviewing this item as i find it hard to keep both my flicks exactly the same.

On my eyelashes i am a big fan of volume million luminizer mascara for blue eyes by L'oreal, i find that it really lengthens my lashes and also creates volume without creating that spidery look you sometimes get with mascara. It has a hint of dark blue in the black mascara, but really comes out black i'm not sure if it really does anything to my blue eyes but I buy it just incase lol.

I got caught by those annoying people in those department stores that grab hold of you and try do your make-up, she introduced me to this eyebrow shadow by a make called Christian as she put it on i really noticed a difference in my eyebrows, unlike eyebrow pencil i felt this seemed a lot more natural and although i have naturally dark eyebrows i felt it filled them in and you didn't get those gaps i sometimes get. It comes with 3 stencils: thin, natural and thick and a brush this allows you to create the shape you prefer though to be honest after a few weeks i ditched the stencil and just did it without. This powder is meant to last 2 years but i've had mine for just over a year and its coming to the end of its life but i guess it all depends on how much its used, its also meant to be waterproof although i haven't tested it yet (though have had no dripping eyebrows when getting caught in the rain). I will defo be repurchasing this soon.

LIPS

On my lips i use superstay 10hr tint gloss by Maybelline in forever fuchsia  this is really dry but does leave you with a nice colour though im not sure about any gloss, i also wouldn't slap it on thickly and i really just put a couple of tiny dots around my lips then rub my lips together. To create the shine and also to allow some moisture onto my lips i top it off with rosy lips vaseline.

And that is what i wear make up wise on a day to day.

Tangle Teezer

(apologies for the googled photo, cant find the charger for my camera at the moment in time)

Having watched Shaun the inventor of the Tangle Teezer rejection as he pitched this amazing product on Dragons Den I felt I had to buy this product when it hit the shops. This hair brush does exactly what is says on the tin (it actually comes in a plastic boxy thing but you know the expression), this pain free brush really takes all the tangles in you hair in minutes.

My son is half Caribbean and half white, his hair is a NIGHTMARE, its really curly, thick and corse and almost impossible to brush through. Having tried every thing under the sun including afro combs and having broken 2 hairbrush handles from trying to get through the knots, when i used the Tangle Teezer i was so shocked at how amazingly easy it was to get the knots out. There was no screaming as it wasn't pulling his hair, it took only a few minutes at most which is important as Alfie will not stay still for much longer, and those dread locks that were beginning to form vanished and i had his nice tight corkscrew curls back again. Having used it on him I decided to purchase the compact styler in the sexy leopard print, having quite long hair and sometimes not having the time to sit and brush out the knots this product is perfect for throwing in your handbag as it doesn't take up much room at all.

This product comes in so many nice colours and styles, bright oranges and pinks there is also the magic flowerpot perfect for little princess which is shaped in a flower and comes with a compartment for hairbands and clips.

Retailing for about £10 which for a hairbrush could seem a bit pricey but I wouldn't use anything else now that i have tried this.

My Hello Kitty/Superhero Vans

I bought this customized vans about 2 weeks ago and having had a few days with no rain i've carefully worn them out. After searching for customized vans on the net i came across this facebook account (will add link)  , i had a nightmare trying to figure out if i wanted the cute girly hello kitty ones or go for old school Elmo. So having emailed Julian hundreds of times (literally) changing my mind on Hello Kitty, Superhero, Elmo and possibly any concoction i could think of, he came up with Hello Kitty Superhero on a white authentic vans.
They are literally amazing and i've had so many comments asking me where they are from. Hand painted by Julian they cost a painful purse damaging £70 (including delivery) but considering office sell the same vans for £44.99, and with all the time and effort put in i think this is about acceptable.

The only negatice thing about these is i'm so worried about getting them dirty so walking on any type of grass/mud/puddle is a no no. Lets see how long these last before they become wrecked by this English weather...www.facebook.com/Offthewallcustoms
